We at JCG would like to connect with you, our readers. We want to interact with you on a first-name basis. On February 24-25, 2009, we are offering two distinct events in Myrtle Beach to fulfill these purposes.  

One of these events will be a day for more experienced pastors in cell ministry to connect with myself and Mario Vega (senior pastor of the second largest church in the world).  We're labeling it "A Day with Joel Comiskey and Mario Vega: A Conversation about Advanced Cell Leadership."

We are touting this time as more than a seminar. We want it to be a highly interactive experience that will give you the chance to role-play real ministry scenarios and debrief those experiences with us. You will also learn through interacting with other experienced cell church leaders. And you will return home with more than ideas. You will have plans and commitments. 

We'll interact with you on such topics as:

 *Developing leaders
 *What to do when there are no results
 *Coaching group leaders

All of the monies received for this event will go to the JCG non-profit fund, dedicated to resourcing the worldwide cell church.

For those of you who want to learn more about cell ministry, we're also offering a one-day seminar on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 called Basic Principles of Cell Ministry. This seminar will explore how to take early steps in establishing a cell-based church. You will spend the day with two seasoned cell-church pastors--Rob Campbell and Steve Cordle--and will discuss: :

 *Cell group basics
 *Factors which lead to group multiplication
 *Equipping leaders
 *Handling Obstacles

This seminar will give you more than a full notebook. You'll experience creative interaction with fellow learners, increase your understanding of cell ministry, and identify the steps God is leading you to take when you return.  All proceeds for this seminar will go to the non-profit ministry of JCG.
